I was watching a YouTube video this morning from one of my favourite contemporary photographers and in the video he was experimenting with black and white photography – something he hasn’t really done before. I’ve been wanting to share the following photos for a few weeks when I got these images back from the printers but haven’t got round it. Until now, thanks to this photographer – James Popsys (incidentally, I also mentioned him in my last blog post).
Unlike James, I have experimented with black and white, both digitally and with film and have a couple of other posts writing about it.*
I recently got a film developed and I always love seeing the images when they come back. I finished this roll of film almost three years ago so seeing some of the images, particularly the ones of my boys when they were so little is so lovely to see.
These photos are by no means perfect for a number of reasons (is any photo perfect?) but they capture moments in time and that’s always a precious thing.
