4th January 2024 – the first day in about two weeks where it didn’t rain and the sun actually made an appearance. Of course I wasn’t going to pass up this opportunity to go for a walk at the beach with my family so after some breakfast and changing from pjs into clothes, we got in the car and headed for the sand dunes.
2023 was a bit lacking in the photography department for various reasons and while it was needed (I think) and other projects were worked on, I was so glad to take me camera with me and capture our walk.

Seeing as it’s winter and we went for our walk mid-morning, we had some gorgeous golden hour light. I had so much fun capturing these two photos below and they are by far my favourites.

What is about sand dunes, toddlers in bright rain-suits and bobble hats that are just irresistible? Or is that just me!?

Can you spot the plane in the photo above? It was incredibly low and incredibly loud and incredible to see! The boys loved it!
